Our company is here to provide you with tools to enjoy the outdoors. As such, we recognise that we have a particular responsibility for maintaining our environment for future generations. With great cartographic power comes responsibility.

In the past we have provided protective plastic pockets with maps. However, every map is durable, 100% waterproof and built to last. You have told us the plastic map pockets are mainly used for storage and we feel this effectively makes them a single use plastic. Therefore, as a company, we were compelled to question the provision of these pockets.

As a result we decided not automatically to provide plastic pockets with maps ordered and sold on our website and over the telephone from April 2019.

Why? Because it is the right thing to do: for you, for us and for the planet. In this way we can help in a small way to reduce materials consumed.

We are striving to make our operations ever more environmentally friendly and responsible.
