This is the first ever serious map available for tourists of Amboseli. It is accurate, up to date and comprehensive. It shows roads and tracks, often with useful advice on track conditions. It shows vegetation boundaries, features of the physical landscape, as well as lodges, camps and campsites. The National Park is the principal map at 1:50,000 scale, but the wet season dispersal area is also covered (at a scale of 1:500,000), together with Selenkay (enlarged to 1:65,000), one of the conservation areas within the dispersal area.
