Shipping And Handling
For all orders, shipping is calculated at checkout once a delivery country and address has been specified and the total weight of all items in the cart are known.
Whilst maps and other small items are light, shipping charges are primarily affected by large and heavy items, such as books and MAZZLE jigsaw puzzles.
Shipping charges are subject to VAT based on the VAT rate applicable to each of the products in the cart.
Orders placed and received before 12pm will be processed and despatched the same day* (except Saturday, Sunday and public holidays). Orders placed after 12pm will be processed and despatched on the next working day. Please bear this in mind when choosing your shipping class at checkout.
*Your order must have been received by us, and payment fully cleared, when we process the orders after midday. Please note that, due to occasional delays in order and payment processing, your order may not be received before the midday cutoff.
UK and the Channel Islands addresses
By default, all orders are shipped to UK addresses by Royal Mail 48 Tracked unless you would like to choose a different service. Royal Mail 48 Tracked is FREE if your order total is £20 excluding VAT or higher.
There are 2 classes of shipping available to you once you decide to checkout.
Royal Mail 48 Tracked
If your order value is £20 or higher (before VAT is applied) this service is FREE for delivery to a UK address. Choose Royal Mail 48 Tracked at checkout. Please allow 2-4 days for Royal Mail to fulfil this service. Royal Mail provides tracking for this service, please ensure you carefully enter your email address and mobile phone number when you checkout.
Royal Mail 24 Tracked
If you require your order to be delivered faster, choose Royal Mail 24 Tracked at checkout. The price you pay for shipping is dependent on the total weight of your order - see the table below. Please allow 1-3 days for Royal Mail to fulfil this service. Royal Mail provides tracking for this service, please ensure you carefully enter your email address and mobile phone number when you checkout.
Heavy orders weighing 2kg or more
If your order weighs 2kg or more then it will be despatched by Courier Next Business Day (Tracked). Tracking is provided to you (via email address or text message) by the courier (DPD) once your order has been despatched.
Please note, Next Business Day delivery is unavailable for certain areas of the UK (for example, Scottish Highlands and Islands). If the delivery destination is located in an area where Next Business Day delivery is not available, your order will be delivered as soon as possible by the courier.
Europe and Rest of the World
All orders with a delivery address outside of the UK are shipped by Royal Mail International Tracked. The price you pay for shipping is dependent on the total weight of your order - see the table below. Depending on the destination, it is estimated to allow 3-9 working days for delivery. Tracking information should be provided by Royal Mail for international orders as soon as the parcel enters their system.
Customs & Duty
Customers outside the UK may have to pay import duty or formal customs entry. If customs duties are required, the delivery may be delayed. Please be aware that HARVEY Maps is unable to assist with this process.
To help ensure that customs duties are not payable for deliveries outside the UK it is advisable to keep your total order value below the customs duty threshold of your destination country. Please check your local thresholds and duties before placing your order with us as we are not responsible for any additional duties payable in the destination country.

Making A Purchase
Making a Purchase is straightforward. Just browse our site. When you find an item you want to buy, click the button 'Add to Cart' at the bottom of the product description. You will then automatically be shown your order. The site will automatically go back so you can look for more items.
When you have all the items you want, click 'Checkout on the right at the very top of the header. On the checkout pages you will be asked for the details that we need to be able to fulfill the order, such as name and address and email. Make sure you put your email address in correctly, otherwise the order confirmation will not reach you.
Click NEXT each time to go on to the next stage. Once this process is complete you will be transferred to the Sagepay payment pages. You will be asked for your credit card details. You may be transferred to the issuing bank's secure site for verification of your card.
Finally you will be shown a confirmation page which you can print. You will also automatically be sent a confirmation email once the payment is processed. If you believe you have completed the order and payment process and you do not receive confirmation, please contact us or on 01786 841202 (9-5pm weekdays).
We accept payment by credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard or Maestro) and PayPal.

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges
Maps are zero rated for VAT. Other goods: 20% VAT is added to UK orders. Orders from outside the UK are VAT free. This rate is automatically adjusted to zero when the delivery address is outside the UK.
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Returns Policy
If you are not completely satisfied with the goods supplied, simply return them within 30 days (return carriage to be paid for by the customer), in pristine condition and safely packed, to Harvey Map Services Ltd, 12-22 Main Street, Doune FK16 6BJ, Scotland, and we will give you a refund for the items you have returned.
